And the winner is…
What a fantastic night that was had by all at last night’s glamours black tie Leicester Mercury Business Awards evening. A champagne reception welcomed the team into the Platinum Suite followed by an evening hosted by Anne Davies and Paul Ross.
All of the nominees showcased what great opportunities are happening in Leicester and last night celebrated all of their successes.
After the fits of giggles from Kev Orkian’s comedy routine it was down to business to announce the winners.
It was great to watch the short films of all the nominees before the winners went on to the stage to collect their prize.
We had strong competition from Bistro Live and Sublime Science. We sat waiting with baited breath waiting to hear the winner be revealed, when a representative from Vision Express (who sponsored the award) began to talk about the great services to students an air of expectation and cheers began to filter across our table.
Finally he said the words we had been hoping for …
