Our team of Assistive Technology Trainers understand the potential barriers in education and the workplace which may be disabling; Our training will enable you to fulfil your potential. Our experienced teachers and trainers will train you on how to use specific aspects of your assistive technology which will help you on your course or in your job.
Your assistive technology training:
- Is tailored to your individual styles and needs
- Is delivered on a one-to-one basis in short sessions (1 – 3 hours) to suit you
- Will enable you to gain the knowledge and confidence needed to integrate a range of assistive technologies into your everyday working and learning environment.
- Will assist in your development of independent skills and strategies for life.
When and where?
We want you to be able to access your support when and where it is right for you, your support can be delivered in person at home, on campus or at work, 9 AM – 9 PM, 7 days a week.
Who?
Anybody can access this training.
Funding
Assistive Technology Training is usually funded through the Disabled Students’ Allowance or Access to Work, but some people can use direct payments or pay privately. If you use our service, we will deal with any employment issues and you will not have to worry about recruitment and payment of tax and national insurance.
