Support Coordinator

Location Leicester
Contract Type Term-time only, 09:00-17:00 Monday to Friday
Reports to Support Manager

Overall purpose of role

Responsible for ensuring student support runs efficiently and to high standard in line with a student-centered approach. Lead on the coordination and delivery of academic support provision within allocated areas in the North of England. Coordinating support staff, making initial contact with students, drawing up support plans, risk assessments and matching support workers, tutors, mentors and trainers appropriately.

Will work in line with the companies Quality Assurance Framework (QAF) and Care Quality Commission (CQC) guidelines and be involved in interviewing, training, and supervision of the support team.

Support the development of the Learning Support Centre’s (LSC) provision within the area.

Support the collection and collation of feedback and utilise feedback to develop the service to ensure high quality delivery of service.

Qualifications, Training Requirements

  • Educated to degree level – Essential
  • ​ILM Level 2 and above – Desirable
  • Evidence of continual professional development – Essential

  • Excellent communication skills
