Did you know that you can ask your DSA needs assessor to recommend a particular Non-Medical Help Provider?
As long as the provider is registered to provide DSA support with the Department for Education, and can provide the type of support you need, then your assessor is usually happy to recommend them in your needs assessment report.

Why should I use The Learning Support Centre for my support?
We have over 20 years of experience providing student support including specialist one-to-one study skills tuition, specialist mentoring and other support roles.
Our Managing Director, Laura Cook, and other team members have lived experience of neurodiversity. As a result, equality and diversity are embedded into all of our work.
All our support staff have been trained and have relevant experience and/or qualifications to undertake your support.
We understand that different courses have different requirements on your time. For this reason, we can offer remote support via Skype, Zoom, MS Teams or telephone between 9am and 9pm, 7 days a week!
We have a matching rationale, which ensures you are matched to a support worker who understands your needs. You are able to choose between in-person (face-to-face) and remote support in many areas and request a support worker of a particular gender.
We have excellent relationships with universities, colleges and funding bodies, enabling us to successfully problem solve and signpost you to the right place when needed.
