Emma holds a BA (Hons) in Combined Social Sciences, with a focus on Sociology, Education, and History, and is due to complete an MA in Research Methods (Sociology) in September 2026. Throughout her academic studies, Emma has developed a strong interest in health and social inequalities, particularly in relation to disability and mental health.
Before joining the Learning Support Centre, Emma worked in supported living services for adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs. During this time, she progressed from Support Worker to Senior Support Worker, gaining valuable experience in person-centred support, leadership, and advocacy.
