WHAT’S YOUR STORY?

WHAT’S YOUR STORY?

National Storytelling Week Jan 28th~4th February 2017

Once upon a time

Everyone has a story. No matter where you say it, how you say it or who you tell it to, you will have a story to share. National Storytelling Week 2017 will run from midnight on the morning of Saturday January 28th to midnight on the evening of Saturday February 4th 2017. This year marks its 17th Year.

The Society for Storytelling has achieved its mission in promoting oral tradition of storytelling, being able to communicate life experiences and creative imagination over the past 24 years. It is celebrated by all ages and it includes folk tales, fairy lore, figments, phantoms, dragons, serpents and storms at sea.

National Storytelling Week takes place in storytelling clubs, theaters, museums, schools, hospitals, spoken word venues, and care homes. Where the events take place, the web of stories will be spun with sufficient magic between the breath of the teller and the ear of the listener.

You can contact The Society for Storytelling all year round and consider the venues and events. Check out what events will take place during the National Storytelling week:
